"Andrei Pandele a realizat în anii ’70-’80 fotografii artistice pe care azi le avem ca mărturii istorice. Că a fost sau n-a fost rău, că ne amintim sau am uitat, Epoca de Aur e redată în fotografii fără vreo ipoteză și fără demonstrații. Autorul doar fotografia ce era în jurul lui. Azi are mai multe categorii de privitori. Unii retrăiesc momente și senzații. Alții privesc distanțat, ca printr-o vitrină, la obiectele și personajele dintr-o lume trecută. Noi, cei care am trăit epoca, căutăm ce a rămas azi din Bucureștiul de altădată, stârniți de câte o fotografie să ne depănăm propria poveste. Pe altele le ocolim, ca pe o întâlnire care nu ne face plăcere. Însă tot noi, adulții, suntem cei care însoțim tinerii în întâlnirea cu fotografiile lui Andrei Pandele, profesori sau familia, descifrând împreună întâmplări greu de înțeles azi, decodificând gesturi, reconstituind topografii. Cele două generații parcurg imaginile expuse și descoperă absurdul, (supra)realismul sau umorul unor situații de viață."
